Sustainable aviation fuel getting closer to home

Singapore Airlines has placed an order for “homemade” sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) as an Australian academic receives funding to set up a SAF industry in Australia. Sustainable aviation fuel is made from bio waste sources such as used cooking oil and municipal waste in addition to non-food crops.

Vietnam Airlines Conducts First Flight on Blended SAF
