KLM tests sustainable ways to taxi aircraft in Amsterdam

KLM has started testing sustainable ways to taxi aircraft at Schiphol Airport. The process is being carried out by a Taxibot, a hybrid towing vehicle that, unlike normal pushback trucks, is licensed to tow aircraft to the start of the runway without the aircraft needing to start its engines.
