KLM continues investment in digital technology by deploying Artificial Intelligence to minimise food waste

KLM is minimising onboard food waste using Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI programmes enable the airline to better predict how many passengers who have booked will actually board a flight. This allows the exact number of required meals to be calculated and KLM achieves up to 63% less food waste

Singapore Takes Off On Sustainable Aviation: Outbound Flights To Cost More

Starting in 2026, outbound flights from Singapore will face added costs to meet decarbonisation goals. By 2026, 1% of jet fuel at Changi and Seletar airports must be Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with a target of 3-5% by 2030, as announced by Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat.
