The first 7,000-gallon shipment of blended Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from winter camelina, grown by Minnesota and North Dakota farmers, arrived at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Key partners included the University of Minnesota’s Forever Green Initiative and Cargill. A new SAF blending facility will open at Flint Hills Resources by late 2025.

China starts sustainable aviation fuel pilot

Starting Thursday, 12 flights taking off from Beijing Daxing International Airport, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, and Ningbo Lishe International Airport will use the SAF, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
