In a new five-year plan, China is taking major steps to rid the nation of single-use plastic waste. On January 19, China announced its plan to ban single-use plastics across the country.

Accor has committed to join the UN Global Tourism Plastics Initiative and remove all single-use plastic items from its hotels by the end of 2022. In addition to its previous commitment to eliminate all plastic straws, stirrers and cotton buds, Accor will remove individual plastic

So, from January 1, 2020, as pledged by Hi Fly President Paulo Mirpuri in 2018, all Hi Fly’s own flights are taking to the air without any single-use plastic items on board.
