Icelandair will now offer passengers the option to pre-purchase meals before flights. This feature will be available to travelers up to 24 hours before departure and aims to cut the airline's waste production and aircraft load.

Swiss to become first airline to use solar fuel

Swiss and its parent company, the Lufthansa Group, have partnered with synthetic fuel group Synhelion to use its solar fuel. This will make Swiss the first airline in the world to use “sun-to-liquid” fuel.
