Japanese airlines promote sustainable fuel use

Tokyo, Mar 3 (Prensa Latina) Japanese airlines All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Japan Airlines promoted the use of aviation fuel called SAF, which is produced from organic waste.

Swiss to become first airline to use solar fuel

Swiss and its parent company, the Lufthansa Group, have partnered with synthetic fuel group Synhelion to use its solar fuel. This will make Swiss the first airline in the world to use “sun-to-liquid” fuel.

All Singapore Airlines Flights Will Use SAF From Q3

From the third quarter of 2022, all Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights will use a blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) provided by ExxonMobil. Using the SAF over the one-year pilot is expected to reduce about 2,500 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, said the airline in a statement.
