China Airlines Sustainability Demonstrator flight wins two awards

Taiwan-based carrier China Airlines has taken part in the second Sustainable Flight Challenge (TSFC) held by SkyTeam. Flight CI753/CI754 operated between Taipei and Singapore as a sustainability demonstration flight, and successfully reduced its carbon emissions by 150 tons.

Top Brazilian airlines say passengers not willing to pay to offset emissions

IHG to open its first lifecycle net zero carbon hotel

voco Zeal Exeter Science Park will be the very first lifecycle net zero carbon hotel in both IHG's and Zeal Hotels’ portfolios. The 142-room property is set to open in the English city of Exeter in 2024. It is signed under a franchise agreement and will be managed by Valor Hospitality.

Air Canada explores possible use of lower-carbon plane fuel
